Light-Filled Rockport Addition
A Skylight Designed in the Field
While the timber-frame roof remained open over the Christmas holiday, the homeowners saw an opportunity to bring even more daylight into the room. Fine Home Construction adapted the design and developed a way to incorporate two 4-by-12-foot, triple-glazed skylights across the roof. The custom solution floods the gathering space with natural light while preserving the structure and visual impact of the exposed timber frame.
