Pine and cherry trees removed during construction were preserved and incorporated into the finished home. The pine was milled for interior baseboards, while the cherry was transformed into custom built-in cabinetry. Reusing wood harvested directly from the site gives these details a unique history and creates a lasting connection between the home, the surrounding landscape, and the materials that were already part of the property.
