This coastal renovation reshaped the home’s main level by removing an existing fireplace and three interior walls. The former kitchen, dining room, and living room were brought together as one spacious great room with improved natural light, easier circulation, and a direct connection to the deck. The result is a more open and versatile home designed for everyday living, entertaining, and enjoying the coastal setting.

One Pizza Oven, Two Gathering Spaces
A handcrafted masonry pizza oven was designed with two doors—one opening onto the kitchen counter and the other facing the outdoor deck. This distinctive feature can be accessed from inside or outside, creating a natural centerpiece for gatherings throughout the year. By serving both spaces, the oven reinforces the connection between the new great room and the home’s outdoor living area.
